What is Medical Aesthetics?
Medical aesthetics brings together the worlds of beauty and health. Medical aestheticians frequently work in spas or medical aesthetics practices delivering a diverse array of services including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion and full-body treatments. The focus is on biology and the science of aging to understand the function and internal structure of the skin. Our unique program provides training topics beyond what is required for state licensure equipping students with expertise in cutting edge medical aesthetics services.
